Amaury Quintero
Partner · Jacksonville
Amaury came to law from his family's general contracting business, where he learned to read a set of plans before he could read a lease.
He handles construction payment, delay and defect cases, lien and bond claims, and real estate litigation, for owners, contractors and subcontractors alike. He opened the Jacksonville office after several years trying construction cases for a regional firm.
He speaks Spanish with clients and at depositions, and he spends weekends fixing up a 1920s bungalow in Riverside.

How Amaury works
He asks for the daily logs, the pay applications and the photos in the first week, and builds a timeline of the job that both sides end up using.
Most construction cases settle once the timeline is on the table. He prepares the ones that don't for arbitration or trial from the start.
