Every case starts as a binder you can read.

Business, contract, partnership, construction and property lawsuits, in state and federal court and in arbitration. We take the side bringing the claim or the side answering it, for owners, companies and individuals.

Sample matters

Four short rules, each with the case behind it

How we think about a dispute, in four lines. Each is paired with a matter of the kind we handle.

  • Read the contract before the complaint.

    Supply agreement · Tampa

A restaurant group was sued for $210,000 under a supply contract. Clause 14 capped damages at one month of orders, and the case settled at mediation for $38,000.

  • Ask for the paperwork early.

    Subcontract payment · Jacksonville

An electrical subcontractor was owed $57,000 on an apartment job. The general contractor's own pay applications showed the owner had paid for the work. Paid in full, with interest, before trial.

  • Owners deserve a clean exit.

    Medical practice · Fort Myers

Two physicians who co-owned a clinic stopped speaking. We negotiated a buyout at the value their shareholder agreement set, and it closed in five months.

  • Try it when it's worth trying.

    Commercial lease · Tampa

A landlord claimed $95,000 when a tenant left early. The jury found the landlord hadn't tried to re-let the space and awarded $11,500.

Sample matters that show the kind of dispute we take and how we work it. Every case turns on its own facts, and past results don't guarantee a similar outcome.
